Wandering Brushstokes
Pepper’s Story
In 2019, during my chemo treatments, I began drawing with colored pencils, inspired by scriptures that brought me comfort and hope. From those pages in my Bible, I soon ventured onto paper with watercolors, adding layers of acrylics, oils, and charcoals. My art truly feels like a gift because, to be honest, I can’t even draw stick figures!
There’s no place I’d rather be than by the water, basking in the sunshine, capturing the JOY that surrounds me. Every piece I create is a reflection of the blessings God grants me daily, and I believe my art is a gift from Him.
I hope you find as much joy in viewing my art as I do in creating it.
The phrase “Let’s Wander Together…” has become a life motto for me. When Willy encouraged me to come up with a tagline for Wandering Willy, it inspired my very first bumper sticker—and it was a turning point for me!
If you’re passionate about your art, I encourage you to share it in the WW Artist’s Corner. You never know—being featured could be a life-changing moment, just like it was for me.
